Puppy from us
First of all I want to thank you for expressing interest in our puppies. Before we embark on this journey together I feel I must share some info with you !
We are a small kennel and we only plan to have 1 litters / year. This is most important for us because each and every litter needs attention and dedication.
The puppies are born in our house and are raised beside our family. We consider each puppy to be unique in characteristics, and we dedicate the time spent together with them knowing their temperament and needs.
Each puppy listens to the radio, music, and even some special sounds from youtube. They get used to vacuum cleaner, washing machine, hair dryer and many other things, which are usually used in a household.
And while we at The Carpathian Phoenix Line Kennel understand that budgets matter, we also hope people understand the reality of what goes into raising a quality, well-bred puppy. It is not simply a business. It’s a way of life—and one filled with love, sacrifice.
Vet bills pile up. Quality food, supplements, vaccinations, microchips, deworming meds—it all adds up quickly. And these aren’t shortcuts we’re willing to take. Because our goal isn’t just to raise puppies—it’s to raise great puppies. Confident. Healthy. Stable. Well-started. And ready for the life they’ll share with their new families.
Adding a new member to your family can be an exciting and patience-trying experience but deciding on what breed best suits you and your family is only part of the process.
Just as much time should be spent on selecting your breeder.
- Meet the Breeder. Ask to visit the breeder’s home or kennel and observe the premises and puppies to ensure they are being raised in a clean and loving environment.
Observe the puppy’s behaviour, temperament, and how they react to the breeder and meeting strangers. - Ask about Medical History. It is important to know of any underlying health conditions that may affect this specific breed. Ask if the breeder is willing to provide proof of health screening.
- Ask the breeder if your puppy will be checked by a veterinarian and microchipped before they are sent home
- Meet the Puppies’ Parents. This will give you the best idea of the puppy’s temperament and appearance when fully grown.
- Research if the breeder is active in their canine communities through membership in a national kennel club, as well as breed and performance dog shows.
